Realme 16 Pro+ 5G chipset, battery and other features confirmed ahead of January 6 launch
[Realme](Realme-C85-Pro.1185288.0.html) has updated the [product listing](https://buy.realme.com/in/goods/780) for the Realme 16 Pro+, giving us additional specs information about the phone before it officially launches on January 6. The phone will run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, which Realme claims has achieved a score of 1.44 million on the AnTuTu benchmark. The chipset will be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
A standout feature of the Realme 16 Pro+ is its massive 7000mAh battery which will also support 80W wired fast charging. The phone will also offer an IP69 Pro rating for dust and water resistance, along with improved audio output. The front of the phone sports a 4D curved display with 1.48mm slim bezels and a stated peak brightness of 6,500 nits. The company previously stated the phone would use a 200MP Samsung HP5 main sensor and has now revealed the inclusion of a 50MP periscope telephoto camera.
This news comes just a few days after the company also [revealed](Realme-16-Pro-revealed-with-brand-new-design-in-four-colors.1186200.0.html) the specifications for the standard Realme 16 Pro. The standard model will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max 5G chipset and an AirFlow VC cooling system that the company claims allows it to score over 970,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark. Similar to the Pro+, this device also packs a 7,000mAh battery.
The Realme 16 Pro features a 1.5K resolution AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and the same high 6,500-nit peak brightness found on its more expensive sibling. The 16 Pro also runs Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0, which includes AI features such as AI Recording, AI Framing master, and Google Gemini. The device will be available in Master Gold, Pebble Gray, and Orchid Purple color options and also carries an IP69 rating for resistance against dust and water.
